Authorities believe a triple fatal shooting in Lakewood was a murder-suicide, according to police.
The shooting occurred just before 8 a.m. Thursday in the 5800 block of Lorelei Avenue. Investigators identified the suspected shooter as Hector Lionel Alfaro, 52, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Police say Alfaro fatally shot his 48-year-old wife and his 17-year-old daughter before turning the gun on himself. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 19-year-old daughter was also present during the incident. She was reportedly shot at but not injured and later contacted authorities.
No motive for the shooting has been disclosed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
