Louisville Metro Police have arrested a third juvenile in connection with a fatal shooting in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood that investigators say was part of a planned act of revenge.
The 17-year-old suspect, identified only by the initials “CB” due to age, is the fourth person overall and the third juvenile charged with murder and robbery in the death of 20-year-old Milton Ritchie.
Ritchie was found shot multiple times in a ditch in the PRP area. According to the arrest citation of 20-year-old Daontez Hodges — the only suspect publicly named — police allege that Ritchie was lured to Fordhaven Road by Hodges and others involved. Investigators say Hodges shot Ritchie twice before fleeing the scene on foot with the group. The incident is described in court documents as a “revenge plan.”
In addition to those charged with murder, another arrest has been made in the case. Jill Brooks, the stepmother of a separate 17-year-old suspect, is accused of attempting to conceal her stepson’s alleged involvement in the shooting.
