A 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with multiple felonies and a misdemeanor after allegedly assaulting a 65-year-old man and stealing property from a business earlier this month, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Authorities say the charges include one felony count of aggravated battery of a victim over 60, aggravated battery of a merchant, robbery, and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to land.
The arrest occurred on the evening of November 25, 2025, in the 3800 block of S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., near where the original incident took place on November 8 in the 3900 block of the same street, within the jurisdiction of the 2nd District.
The juvenile was identified as the suspect and taken into custody without further incident.
The Chicago Police Department has not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the case or the condition of the victim. Public records on the juvenile’s arrest and charges remain limited to the information provided by law enforcement.
