Two people were taken to the hospital following a late-night shooting behind a Target store in Baldwin Park on Sunday, authorities confirmed.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to reports of gunfire around 8:20 p.m. in the 3100 block of Baldwin Park Boulevard, near the 10 Freeway. When crews arrived, they located two victims who needed medical treatment and transport to a hospital. Officials have not yet released details about their conditions.
Investigators have also not shared information about a possible suspect or what may have led to the shooting.
Aerial footage from SkyCal showed two vehicles — a white van and a black pickup truck — parked with their doors open as officers examined the scene. Multiple evidence markers were visible across the parking lot, and police tape blocked off the rear area of the store while detectives began their investigation.
