Transportation officials announced that upcoming road work will affect traffic in Kanawha County starting Feb. 23.
Crews will close the left lane of Montrose Drive between MacCorkle Avenue and Kanawha Turnpike from 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the West Virginia Department of Education.
Officials said the overnight lane closures will give workers time to complete a project replacing three spans along Montrose Drive.
