Police have accused an Ohio man of stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of tools.
Shawn Austin Horne, 26, of Middleport faces a charge of receiving and transferring stolen property, according to a post from the Mason Metro Police Department.
Police said someone took about $5,000 in tools from a utility trailer in Hartford, W.Va., on Monday.
Investigators recovered some of the stolen property and made an arrest as the investigation progressed.
Authorities are holding Horne at Western Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Investigators said several additional items, primarily DeWalt-branded carpentry tools, may still be missing.
