Two people died in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening on Ann Arbor-Saline Road near Blue Grass Lane in Lodi Township, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the crash prompted a large emergency response, with two ambulances and multiple police units arriving at the scene.
One of the vehicles involved was seen heavily damaged along the roadside embankment.
Officials closed Ann Arbor-Saline Road in both directions while investigators worked at the scene to determine the cause of the crash.
