Authorities in Moreno Valley are investigating the suspicious death of a 23-year-old woman following a reported fight with a family member.
Victim identified in Riverside County case
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman as Elana Davis.
Deputies responded around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday to a home on Woodlark Lane, where they found Davis unresponsive and not breathing.
Altercation preceded sudden death
According to investigators, Davis had been involved in a physical altercation with a family member shortly before losing consciousness.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests as homicide probe continues
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and the case remains under active investigation.
