Police in Grand Rapids, Michigan, are actively searching for a suspect following an early morning shooting that left a woman injured.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday near Eastern Avenue and Logan Street. Upon arrival, they found a woman who had been shot.
According to authorities, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where she received treatment for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
As of Saturday afternoon, investigators had not identified or located a suspect. The case remains under investigation.
