A 55-year-old man is in custody after the Cass County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant Tuesday evening in the 60,000 block of Eagle Point Road in Calvin Township following a tip about possible stolen property.
Deputies say the search uncovered stolen items, methamphetamines, and a large quantity of marijuana inside the residence. The man at the home was arrested on multiple pending charges, including:

Possession of drugs with intent to deliver

Possession of methamphetamines

Maintaining a drug house

Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony

Possession of stolen property

Operating a chop shop

Altering or removing a vehicle identification number
Authorities are withholding the suspect’s name until after formal arraignment.
