The Broward Sheriff’s Office dive team is investigating a Deerfield Beach lake early Tuesday morning.
Officials provided few details but confirmed the operation is taking place near the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Lakeside Way. The sheriff’s office assured the public that there is no threat to the community. Additional information is expected to be released later Tuesday.
