ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Monday morning in Washington Shores.
Officers responded to the neighborhood at 3400 Columbia St. around 10:16 p.m. on Sunday.
Police said a 42-year-old man had an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead.
Officers used a tow truck to remove a vehicle parked at the home where the investigation is underway.
Crime scene investigation trucks were present, and police taped off the house.
The medical examiner was also seen removing the victim’s body from the home.
The shooting remains under investigation at this time.
