Police Arrest Two After Drugs Found in Home Across From Central City Elementary

Police arrested two people and seized illegal drugs after searching a home near a Huntington elementary school, authorities said.

Justin “Face” White, 31, of Columbus, Ohio, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Christina Harris, 34, of Huntington, was charged with conspiracy, according to a news release from the Huntington Police Department.

Investigators said they searched a home Tuesday in the 2000 block of Washington Avenue, directly across the street from Central City Elementary School.

Police reported seizing a significant quantity of fentanyl, U.S. currency, and materials commonly used to package and distribute narcotics.

According to officers, White and Harris were taken into custody near the home and transported to the Western Regional Jail.

White is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond, while Harris was issued a $50,000 cash-only bond.
