The Kern County coroner confirmed that a 27-year-old man from Shafter, Ronald Amilcar Angel Guardado, was found unresponsive in Wasco on Friday.
Guardado was discovered around 3:19 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2026, in a dirt lot in the 11000 block of Jumper Avenue by Kern County fire personnel.
An autopsy is pending to determine the cause and manner of death.
