Troopers have charged a man after he allegedly sold drugs to a woman who later overdosed and died in Logan County.
Jimmy Dale Conley Jr., 56, faces charges of drug delivery resulting in death and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine following an incident last week in Chapmanville, according to a news release from the West Virginia State Police.
Troopers said they initially responded to a motel in Chapmanville, where they found a woman dead from an apparent drug overdose.
During the investigation, authorities determined that Conley allegedly sold the drugs to the woman.
When troopers arrested Conley, they reported finding him in possession of a significant amount of drugs and cash.
Conley is being held on a total bond of $113,000.
