A suspect accused of stealing a vehicle was arrested after a short police pursuit ended in a rollover crash in Reseda on Wednesday night.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the chase began after the suspect allegedly pulled a person out of a Kia Soul and drove away in the stolen vehicle.
Officers located the suspect and initiated a pursuit that lasted less than a minute. The chase ended around 9:20 p.m. when the vehicle crashed and overturned near the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Friar Street.
Police arrested the driver at the scene. Authorities requested an ambulance after the suspect complained of pain related to injuries sustained in the crash.
Officials said no other vehicles were involved and no additional injuries were reported. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the vehicle to overturn.
