Authorities are searching for a suspect described as “armed and dangerous” following the shooting of a county employee in Miami-Dade County.
Suspect identified
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect as Nathan J. Cooper and is asking the public for help in locating him.
Details of the shooting
Investigators said the incident occurred Tuesday evening at an apartment complex near Northwest 4th Avenue and 84th Street in northwest Miami-Dade.
According to officials, two men were involved in an altercation when one of them pulled out a firearm and shot the other.
Victim in critical condition
The victim, an employee of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, was transported to a hospital and remains in critical condition.
