San Fernando Valley Burglary Spree Under Investigation as Break-Ins Alarm Residents

Multiple Incidents Reported Across San Fernando Valley

Authorities are investigating a series of overnight burglaries and break-in attempts across the San Fernando Valley, raising concerns among residents despite an overall drop in crime rates.

The Los Angeles Police Department is working to determine whether the incidents are connected.

String of Break-Ins Caught on Camera

Police reported several incidents across different neighborhoods:

  • In Hollywood Hills, a man was arrested for trespassing on Holly Drive, though no burglary was confirmed
  • About 15 minutes later in West Hollywood, a homeowner spotted three suspects inside their home via security cameras stealing items
  • In Granada Hills, another homeowner saw a burglar inside their house, reportedly carrying a crowbar

In all cases, the homes were unoccupied at the time of the break-ins.

Police Yet to Confirm Connection

Investigators have not confirmed whether the incidents are linked, and aside from the trespassing arrest, no suspects have been taken into custody in the burglary cases.

Authorities are continuing to review surveillance footage and gather evidence.

Crime Statistics vs. Public Concern

According to LAPD data, the North Hollywood Division has recorded 156 burglary cases so far this year as of April 11.

While that represents a 45% decrease compared to the same period in 2025, residents remain uneasy due to the recent cluster of incidents.

Investigation Ongoing

Police are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as they continue to investigate the spree.
