Man Arrested in Connection With Multiple Sexual Assaults Across San Fernando Valley, LAPD Says

Detectives with the LAPD have arrested a suspect accused of carrying out a series of sexual assaults across the San Fernando Valley in a single day.

Authorities identified the suspect as Damian Denzell Robinson, 29. Investigators allege he targeted multiple women on April 19, 2026, committing or attempting several assaults in different neighborhoods, including Granada Hills, North Hills, Northridge, and Winnetka.

Series of Incidents in One Day

Police say the incidents began in the morning and continued throughout the day, with victims reporting similar patterns of behavior. In several cases, the suspect allegedly approached women from behind, assaulted them, and, in some instances, recorded the encounters using a cellphone.

The reported incidents took place at various public locations, including businesses, markets, and retail stores. In each case, the suspect had reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived.

Arrest and Investigation

Investigators were able to identify Robinson through surveillance footage collected from multiple locations. He later turned himself in and was taken into custody at a local sheriff’s station.

Police noted that Robinson has a prior conviction for indecent exposure and lewd conduct, which requires him to register as a sex offender.

Ongoing Investigation

Authorities believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Detectives are urging anyone with information or similar experiences to contact law enforcement as the investigation continues.

Officials emphasized the importance of reporting such incidents promptly to assist in building a comprehensive case and ensuring public safety.
