All lanes reopen after fatal pedestrian crash on I-30 in Dallas

Traffic has resumed on Interstate 30 in Dallas after a pedestrian was struck and killed early Tuesday morning, authorities confirmed.

The fatal incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. near the intersection of I-30 and Sylvan Avenue, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency crews shut down all westbound lanes for several hours while they responded to the scene and cleared the roadway, causing significant delays for morning commuters.

Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim.
