Fire crews responded early Sunday morning to a house fire at a rural home in Calhoun County.
According to the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department, the fire was reported around 5 a.m. along Rowles Run outside Grantsville.
Firefighters said the home had been burning for some time before anyone noticed, and officials have declared it a total loss.
Crews faced extreme conditions, battling frozen pumps and valves in -6 degree temperatures before they managed to extinguish the blaze.
Firefighters from Arnoldsburg and Grantsville departments responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
