According Kauai Fire Department Kauai Fire Department, the helicopter went down Thursday afternoon near Kalalau Beach, a remote location along Kauai’s famed Na Pali Coast.
Officials said the aircraft, carrying a pilot and four passengers, crashed approximately 100 yards offshore in the waters off the island’s north shore.
