Authorities are investigating a late-night home burglary in Valley Glen, adding to growing concerns over a surge in property crimes across the San Fernando Valley.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a residence on Vanscoy Avenue around 9:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a break-in.
Suspects Flee Before Police Arrival
When officers reached the scene, they found clear signs of forced entry, including a shattered rear glass door. However, the suspects had already fled, and no immediate arrests were made.
Investigators have not yet confirmed what items, if any, were stolen, nor whether anyone was inside the home during the incident.
