A man in Lexington has been arrested and charged with multiple serious offenses involving a minor under the age of 12, according to local authorities.
Suspect Taken Into Custody
Police identified the suspect as Jorge Luis Martinez Ulloa, who was arrested on March 28 by the Lexington Police Department. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
Multiple Felony Charges Filed
Authorities say Martinez Ulloa faces several felony charges, including:
- Kidnapping of a minor
- Two counts of first-degree rape involving a child under 12
- Two counts of first-degree sodomy involving a child under 12
- Two counts of first-degree sexual abuse involving a child under 12
Incident Details
Officers responded to a call on March 28 in the Cardinal Valley area, specifically the 1300 block of Davenport Drive, after receiving a report involving a juvenile victim.
According to court documents, the victim did not know the suspect. The child reported being held inside a residence and indicated that escape was only possible through a window.
The victim was later transported to a hospital for medical care.
Custody and Court Proceedings
Martinez Ulloa remains in custody on a $100,000 bond. Jail records indicate he is scheduled to appear in Fayette District Court for arraignment.
