Investigators in Mingo County arrested a man Monday after accusing him of sexually abusing two girls in his care.
Dakota Ryan Hatfield, 30, faces two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust to a child, according to a news release from the West Virginia State Police.
Troopers said they received a complaint in October of last year involving two girls, ages 9 and 11.
Investigators said both girls disclosed that Hatfield had “performed sexual acts on them multiple times.”
Hatfield is being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
