A man was shot and killed early Wednesday morning in the city’s Oakland neighborhood.
Police officers responded to the 3700 block of South Lake Park Avenue shortly after 4:50 a.m. following reports of gunfire.
At the scene, officers discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead. Authorities did not release his age.
Investigators recovered a vehicle, and Chicago police told WGN News it was the stolen car connected to Wednesday morning’s deadly shooting in Lakeview East.
