Police in Pembroke Park, Florida are searching for a suspect after a man was shot multiple times outside a bar late Monday night.
According to the Pembroke Park Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire at Thirsty’s Liquor Bar on West Hallandale Boulevard.
Victim hospitalized in stable condition
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man outside the bar suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, authorities said.
Argument led to shooting, police say
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an argument that began inside the bar.
Police said the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm during the dispute and fired several shots, striking the victim.
Suspect fled in SUV
After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene in a silver SUV with an unknown license plate, according to police.
Authorities described the suspect as a white or light-skinned male wearing a light-colored shirt, pants and a hat.
Investigation ongoing
The case remains under active investigation as officers work to identify and locate the suspect.
