A man died early Tuesday after officers found him shot several times in an alley on the West Side.
Around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a call about an unresponsive person in the 1900 block of South Ridgeway Avenue. Chicago police said they discovered the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics took him to Stroger Hospital, where he later died. The Cook County medical examiner’s office had not identified him as of Tuesday morning.
Police said no arrests have been made, and Area Three detectives are investigating.
