A Miami-Dade woman faces multiple charges following a chaotic domestic incident on the Palmetto Expressway Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Gisell Mansur, 39, of Cutler Bay, and a friend had been out with her husband when a dispute escalated in his SUV. Troopers said both women were “heavily intoxicated.”
During the argument, Mansur allegedly kicked her husband in the face from the back seat, then got out and jumped on the hood of the SUV. She later sat in a highway lane, blocking traffic. The incident was captured on a live Florida Department of Transportation camera feed.
When Mansur was taken into custody, she refused to exit the patrol car, kicked the vehicle, and spat in a trooper’s face, prompting officers to use a Taser to gain control.
She was transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and faces charges including resisting an officer with violence, assault on a police officer, battery, disorderly intoxication, and disorderly conduct. She was granted a $3,800 bond on several charges, with bond pending on the assault charge against a police officer.
