A Kanawha County woman who was reported missing and believed to be in danger has been found safe, authorities said.
Ashley Dawn Taylor, 31, was located Friday after deputies sought the public’s help in finding her, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.
Taylor had last been seen Feb. 22 on Lula Lane in the Sissonville area, where authorities said she was forced into a red Ford Escort-type vehicle by a man and a woman.
Deputies initially described her as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with blonde hair and a thin build. She was last seen wearing black leggings, black boots and a large gray sweatshirt.
Authorities did not release additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance or recovery. The investigation remains ongoing.
