Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Allegan County Crash, Officials Say

ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI — A motorcyclist was left seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash in Allegan Township, authorities confirmed.


Crash Reported Near 113th Avenue and Jennings Court

The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a crash around 12:41 p.m. on April 11 near the intersection of 113th Avenue and Jennings Court.

According to investigators, the rider was traveling eastbound when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed onto the roadway.


No Other Vehicles Involved

Officials confirmed the crash involved only the motorcyclist, with no other vehicles contributing to the incident.

Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene and provided medical assistance before transporting the injured man to a nearby hospital.


Rider Not Wearing Helmet at Time of Crash

Authorities noted that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet when the crash occurred, which may have contributed to the severity of his injuries.

He remains in serious condition, according to police.


Road Temporarily Closed for Investigation

The intersection remained closed for several hours on April 12 as crash reconstruction teams investigated the scene. The roadway was later reopened around 3:20 p.m.
