Authorities took a parent into custody following an alleged assault involving a girls’ basketball coach last week.
Online court records show that officials charged Tommy Kilburn with assaulting a school employee or volunteer. The records identify a North Laurel coach as the victim.
As part of his bond conditions, Kilburn must stay at least 500 feet away from the coach and cannot attend any events where the victim is coaching.
Officials have not disclosed the circumstances that led to the alleged assault.
