Warsaw Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

A traffic stop near Silver Lake led to the arrest of 44-year-old Anthony Wayne Miller of Warsaw on several drug- and driving-related charges.

Police stopped Miller on Nov. 21 after a Silver Lake officer saw his vehicle cross the center line several times and noticed a broken license plate light. Court documents say the officer learned Miller’s license was suspended.

A Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputy assisted and identified Raven S. Jackson of Warsaw as a passenger. Jackson was wanted on a probation violation and was taken into custody.

Officers say Miller failed multiple field sobriety tests and tested positive for THC, amphetamines, and methamphetamine/ecstasy. A search of his vehicle uncovered plastic bags containing meth.

Miller—who has two prior meth-dealing convictions—is charged with:

  • Possession of methamphetamine (Level 6 felony)

  • Operating a vehicle with a BAC of 0.08 or more (Class C misdemeanor)

  • Driving while suspended prior (Class A misdemeanor)

  • Possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances (Level 5 felony)

He was arrested and later released on his own recognizance. Miller is scheduled for an initial hearing on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 8:15 a.m. in Kosciusko Circuit Court.
