A Wyoming County man has been convicted of possession of child sexual abuse material, authorities said Wednesday.
Ronald Jackson “Poncho” Sinecoff, 53, of Pineville, was found guilty in Circuit Court of Wyoming County, according to a press release from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.
Sinecoff was arrested in June 2025 after allegedly soliciting a minor in late 2023. A year-long investigation led to the seizure of multiple electronic devices containing hundreds of files depicting child sexual abuse. Investigators reported that many of the videos were shared via the Telegram app and involved “prepubescent females engaged in sexual abuse.”
Sinecoff is scheduled to return to Circuit Court in February for sentencing, where he faces 5 to 20 years in prison.
