A death investigation has been launched in Marina del Rey after a woman’s body was discovered floating in the harbor on Saturday afternoon.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies said they were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m., approximately half a mile from the harbor’s north entrance.
Authorities have not released details about the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. The Sheriff’s Information Bureau confirmed that homicide detectives had not yet been notified as of Saturday night.
