Authorities arrested three people following a stabbing at Hard Rock Casino Tejon that left one person injured early Sunday morning.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said that around 1:41 a.m. on February 1, 2026, deputies from the Tejon Substation responded to the casino on Garone Farm Road after receiving reports of multiple people involved in a fight.
As deputies were en route, they received additional information indicating that a stabbing victim was involved.
When deputies arrived, they located the injured victim and learned the suspected attackers had already left the scene.
The victim sustained moderate injuries and was treated at a hospital.
Deputies immediately launched an investigation.
KCSO said that in the hours that followed, deputies served two search warrants at homes in Shafter, located in the 300 block of Walnut Street and the 200 block of West Tulare Avenue.
During those searches, deputies arrested 40-year-old Miguel Valladolid, 37-year-old Juan Cueto, and 36-year-old Christina Cueto without incident.
Valladolid was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.
Juan Cueto was arrested on a charge of conspiracy.
Christina Cueto was also arrested on a charge of conspiracy.
