A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck in a hit-and-run crash in Northridge on Sunday night, prompting an active investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Crash Reported Near Busy Intersection
The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and White Oak Avenue, a well-traveled area in the San Fernando Valley.
Authorities said the victim was hit by a gray four-door sedan, which fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded quickly and transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital.
Officials have not yet released details about the victim’s identity or current condition.
Driver Remains at Large
Police have not provided a description of the driver, and no arrests have been made as of now.
