Police say a child is recovering after being hurt in a shooting on Chicago’s Far West Side.
Chicago police reported that a 12-year-old boy was riding in a vehicle in the 900 block of North Leamington Avenue in the Austin neighborhood just before 7 p.m. when a bullet grazed his head.

The boy was taken to Loyola Hospital and is listed in fair condition.
Police said two suspects were taken into custody. Area Four Detectives are continuing the investigation.
