Crown Point Hospital Threat Leads to Felony Charges Against Arizona Man

Brandyn Lewis Chamberlain, 36, of Florence, Arizona, is facing several felony and misdemeanor charges after police say he made a threatening phone call to a hospital in Crown Point.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the investigation began after Franciscan St. Anthony’s Hospital, located at 12750 St. Francis Drive, reported receiving a threatening call on November 20, 2025, at about 11:32 a.m.

The affidavit states the call lasted roughly 11 seconds and originated from a phone number later traced to Chamberlain. During the call, a male voice allegedly said:

“The nurse who was involved incident with that black female better be identified and she better be identified by the end of next week or I’m gonna blow your fucking hospital up.”

Hospital officials reported the threat to police the following day.

Investigators ran the phone number through multiple databases, which all identified it as belonging to Brandyn Chamberlain, with an Arizona address listed in court records.

On November 25, 2025, an investigator contacted the phone number. The affidavit says the man who answered identified himself as Chamberlain. He initially claimed he did not know anything about the call and said he had lost his phone at a park the week before. He later acknowledged that he had recovered the phone.

According to court documents, after further discussion, Chamberlain admitted he made the threatening call after watching a news report involving a pregnant woman he believed had been denied medical care. The affidavit states Chamberlain told investigators that, out of anger, he called the hospital and threatened to “blow it up.”

The affidavit also notes that Chamberlain said he had no intention of carrying out the threat and claimed he did not have access to any weapons. Police reported that part of the phone conversation was recorded, and in the recorded portion, Chamberlain admitted guilt.
