Prosecutors report that a Fayette County man was convicted Thursday on several drug-related charges.
Justin Kile Legg, 30, of Oak Hill, was found guilty of four counts of delivering fentanyl mixed with xylazine, ketamine, and methamphetamine, as well as conspiracy to deliver fentanyl and methamphetamine, according to a press release from the Fayette County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
Authorities said that between September and October 2024, Legg sold fentanyl mixed with other controlled substances on four separate occasions in Oak Hill. Evidence presented at trial also showed that he continued trafficking drugs into November before his arrest.
During the two-day trial, prosecutors introduced text messages from Legg’s phone indicating he knew he was dealing fentanyl and that the drugs were combined with other substances.
Legg is scheduled to return to court on April 13 for sentencing. He faces 3–15 years in prison for each delivery count and 2–10 years for the drug conspiracy charge. He is currently held at the Southern Regional Jail without bond, which was revoked following his conviction.
