Man Wanted by Meigs County Deputies on Multiple Felony Charges

A man is wanted on nearly 20 felony charges in Meigs County, Ohio, according to deputies.

The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office announced on social media that following an investigation, David Butcher is wanted on several felony charges, including arson, five counts of tampering with evidence, five fourth-degree counts of receiving stolen property, four fifth-degree counts of receiving stolen property, and four counts of purposely concealing or destroying the identity of a motor vehicle, including the removal of VIN numbers.

Deputies warned that Butcher may be armed and advised the public not to approach or attempt to detain him.
