Two men were arrested Sunday at a West Virginia state park after troopers discovered what they described as “a significant amount” of illegal drugs.
According to a news release from the West Virginia State Police, Ross Dingess, 38, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, while Christopher Brewster, 48, faces a charge of possession of fentanyl.
Troopers said they were dispatched to the Chief Logan State Park Lodge following a report of a wanted individual on the property.
During the investigation, state police seized heroin and fentanyl and confirmed that Dingess had an active arrest warrant.
Both men were taken to Southwestern Regional Jail. Dingess is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond, while Brewster was given a $5,000 bond with multiple 10% and surety options.
