Troopers said a woman was arrested after her husband reported that she stabbed him.
Amanda Brown, 38, of Orlando has been charged with malicious wounding, according to a press release from West Virginia State Police.
Troopers said they responded to a reported stabbing in the Orlando area of Lewis County around 2 p.m. Tuesday. After arriving on scene, investigators determined that Brown’s husband suffered several lacerations to his left hand and abdominal area, State Police said.
The husband told troopers that Brown attacked him with a knife before law enforcement arrived. He was taken to Braxton Memorial Hospital for treatment and was listed in stable condition, troopers said.
Brown was arrested and is currently being held at Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
