Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash Near Six Flags Magic Mountain

A fatal hit-and-run incident near Six Flags Magic Mountain is under investigation after a pedestrian was struck and killed Friday night.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred shortly after 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Magic Mountain Parkway and Tourney Road, less than a mile from the popular theme park.

Authorities say the driver, believed to be operating a dark-colored pickup truck, fled the scene immediately after the collision. The suspect reportedly continued westbound on Magic Mountain Parkway before deputies arrived.

Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Officials have not yet released the identity of the deceased.

Investigators are continuing to search for the driver involved and are working to gather additional details about the vehicle and circumstances leading up to the crash.
