Warsaw Man Arrested for Allegedly Batterring, Threatening Women

Ross Holden Malott, 37, of Warsaw, was arrested on Dec. 26, 2025, following allegations that he battered and threatened women, according to court documents.

Malott faces multiple charges, including domestic battery (Class A misdemeanor), domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, domestic battery with a prior conviction, and intimidation (all Level 6 felonies), as well as disorderly conduct (Class B misdemeanor).

The incident began on Dec. 26, when a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputy spoke with a woman who reported receiving threatening voice messages from Malott in which he allegedly said he would murder her. The woman described him as unpredictable and intimidating.

Earlier, on Dec. 25, Malott was involved in another domestic battery incident. When officers responded to the scene on Dec. 26, they observed blood on a sheet and door and heard Malott yelling inside the residence. One woman at the home had visible redness and swelling on her right eye and nose. Initially, she claimed her injuries were from a fall, but body camera footage from the prior day indicated she had no injuries then. Eventually, the woman admitted that Malott had struck her face with an open hand.

A neighbor reported hearing intense arguing and a woman yelling, “stop, you’re hurting me,” during the incident.

While being transported to Kosciusko County Jail, Malott violently banged his head against the police vehicle’s cage and continued threatening self-harm. EMS treated him on the scene, and he remained belligerent during subsequent hospital treatment, yelling at medical personnel.

Malott, who has a prior domestic battery conviction, was booked into Kosciusko County Jail following the incident.
