MS-13 Member Charged in Southern California With Multiple Crimes, Including Homicide

An active member of the Salvadoran gang MS-13 is facing multiple criminal charges in Southern California, including homicide, according to federal authorities.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced early Saturday that William Geoevanni Martinez-Vivas has been charged with several offenses after previously serving time for illegal reentry into the United States.

ICE said Martinez-Vivas is charged with homicide, assault, burglary, trespassing and various property crimes.

Officials noted that Martinez-Vivas was already being held at a secure facility when the new charges were filed.
